The movie in talks in "Corpse Bride" which is one of my favorite Tim Burton movies ..
the most favorite of Tim's work would be "The Nightmare before Xmas" which was great as well ..
I noticed the similarities between your work and both movies, but I guess it's due to the look in the eyes, and the dark background, not to mention that the judge actually look like one of the "Corpse Bride" characters.
But nonetheless, the work is well-done and it shows how great of a painter you can be.

This is my first visit, and I liked this blog.
The character design is really amazing! Especially the King and the Judge. The Tim Burton effect is not negative, since I like his work. Can't wait to see the whole becoming of this.
